Hi everyone!
We're glad you stopped by to get to know more about our upcoming trip to Orica, Honduras! Blackhawk Church has been sending short term missions trips to Alfa y Omega Church since 2002, and they have been going at least twice a year since then. We have developed a long term relationship with both the church and the community. Past missions teams have included other medical missions teams, architectural teams to build playgrounds, and through advent conspiracy, Orica was also able to have a clean water well built in their town.
Our goal is to again be able to provide medical assistance to the community through dentists, pediatricians, and internal medicine doctors. We also are looking at working with the community on public health issues as well.
Our trip dates are January 6 - 15, 2012. We have a great and diverse group of people going, and we hope to be introducing you to all of us soon! But below you can find who is going on this trip.
