Bienvenidos

Bienvenidos!

We are writing this from the Hess' house here in Siguatapeque,  we all arrived safely and with all of our luggage!  After a long night of driving, going through O'Hare, Miami and finally San Pedro Sula, we, for those who were new to the area, were able to start learning about the people that live here in Honduras.  We also were able to meet with Luis and Josh, two Hondurans who have been helping North American Missions Teams since 1982.

One of the fun places we went for dinner was called "power chicken".  It had over 40 different types of combos to choose from, and a good variety of sides.  I ended up going with the cubano combo with fried plantains.  It ended up being very good, and many of the others mentioned the same of their meals.

We are all now settling in for the night to get rested from our long day of traveling!  Please continue to pray for us that we will be able to keep our focus and that we can continue to learn and meet more Hondurans as we travel to Orica tomorrow morning.

We also had 2 new people join our trip.  Jim and Steven Long have come along with us as some late additions to our team.  We're happy to have them here and look forward to getting to know them better as the week continues!

Here are a few pictures from throughout the day:

And from all of us, Good Night!
